The rise of many social networking sites gave better ways of communication. Because of its trend and popularity, it became an
avenue for cyberbullying. Minors are prime users of the Internet. This
made them the victims or perpetrators of cyberbullying. It became
a big issue as time goes on because many people are
victimized. It became very alarming to the world because there are
incidents of cyberbullying. There are already criminal involvement in
this event. Before this becomes out of hand, it must be prevented.
Since the primary participants involved are minors, the parents
and the school institutions should take part in the prevention and
further actions must be done. Parents should be responsible for
the behavior of their kids. School institutions should impose
policies and conduct anti-bullying programs.
